Life of a Blogger is a weekly feature hosted by Jessi at Novel Heartbeat where bloggers chatter about random, non-bookish topics. This week's topic is: what's your favorite place?
Well, this is an easy question, one that has three answers. My first favorite place would be my bedroom (I'd take a picture but I'll spare you the mess) because I do practically everything in it. Aside from the usual sleeping and dressing up and stuff, it's also where I read, watch movies and TV shows, listen to music, eat, and study. I don't have a couch in here so I do all of those while curled up in bed where everything is within my reach, and I can not go out for hours. My family's so used to me being in my room that it's the first place they think to look for me. I love how I can be alone but because my room's in the middle of the house, I still feel like I'm being with everyone. And I can listen in on practically all conversations without anyone knowing *evil laugh*
My second favorite place would be in bed between my parents. For the most part of me growing up, I slept between them because I have a very active imagination and I couldn't sleep alone even when I already had my own room. Now, when my siblings and I spend the weekends at our parents' place, I still sleep between them because it feels... safe. Lol I remember one night:
Me: *closes my eyes and tries to sleep*
Dad: *wakes up* You don't have a blanket?
Mom: *wakes up too* You don't have a blanket?!
And then they both shot to their feet to get me one :))
Last but most certainly not the least, would be the bookstore! All you bibliophiles out there can relate, I know ;D The smell of books! The sight of books! The feel of books! I lose all my rationality in bookstores because even though I have a massive TBR pile here at home, I will always be able to justify buying a new one. That's why it's my only favorite place that I try to avoid lol.
What about you, folks, got any favorite places? Let's chat about them in the comments or better yet, link me up to your own posts! ;D
My bedroom. Definitely my bedroom. I have this hammock chair thing that look out the window. It's the perfect reading spot :D

I do love my bedroom. I think I'd love it more if I added a big, comfy reading chair to it though. As much as I enjoy stretching out on my bed to read, I need a better spot. I need to get on that. :)
ReplyDeleteEven though I read primarily eBooks now, I still love a good bookstore. I love to look at all the pretties. Used book stores are even better. There's so much character to them.
Cozy book store nooks are the BEST! How'd I forget that one on my list? DUH!
ReplyDeleteI almost wrote about my bedroom as well... And about a book store - there are these little, super crammed bookstores about Edinburgh that I love because it feels like even the books themselves, not just the pages, have stories to tell.
