Life of a Blogger is a weekly feature hosted by Jessi at Novel Heartbeat where bloggers chatter about random, non-bookish topics. This week's topic is handwriting!
I used to take pride in my handwriting. My elementary school had lessons just for it where we had a workbook to practice a style of cursive called 'Paulinian Writing'. We repeated our ABCs and 123s endlessly just to complete those activities but, unlike my classmates, I absolutely enjoyed it! Over the years, though, my cursive has evolved into something less, idk, curly? XD
Sorry for the terrible photos >_< I used quotes from Eleanor & Park because I'm still overjoyed over the recent movie news!
That's how my cursive is now. I'm kind of out of practice with writing by hand at the moment because I've been on summer break for two weeks lol. Anyway, my cursive looks somewhat hurried because that's when I use it the most: when I'm in a hurry, like when I'm taking down notes and my professor thinks his students' hands are tape recorders. -_-
And that's my print writing, which I only use when someone else will have to read whatever I'm writing. I've been tempted many times to subject some particularly cruel professors to my cursive just to see what they'll say, but I've never been so brave yet.
So there it is. My handwriting's not the best, but I've seen worse. My mom's :)) But how's your handwriting? Leave a link to your own Life of a Blogger post and I'll be sure to drop by!
Ohhh I think your handwriting is so pretty! Both of them :)
ReplyDeleteI like both of them! Somehow they remind me of a style you would find in old diaries/journals pages.
ReplyDeleteYour handwriting is great, actually! My dad's is insane...I CANNOT read it at all and my mum's is almost as bad. My writing is worse than chicken scratchings, I just...no. I never handwrite anymore. >-<
ReplyDeleteUm, your handwriting is definitely better than mine. Your cursive is so pretty! The Assumption script is so spiky and pointed that coupled with my messy handwriting, my writing gives people headaches (or at least that's what they say)
ReplyDeleteI think your handwriting is lovely! I remember doing that as well in primary school, I remember the feeling of triumph whenever I was the first to finish, ahah. x)
ReplyDeleteI think your print is cute! I have trouble reading cursive because I forget how to write it and I hardly ever have need to use it. The only cursive I ever see anymore is my grandma's when she writes me letters, and I have a hell of a time reading hers!
ReplyDeleteUmm my handwriting sucks lol I love how yours looks, I wish I can write like that!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could write cursive better! I can totally read it, but writing... well, not so much. Haha. I like your writing. It looks so neat :D
