A Bookish Day: #VTRinPH!

Guess who I met last Saturday? Yep, that's Ransom Riggs, Tahereh Mafi, and Veronica Rossi! *cue freakout* They're three of my favorite authors so you can imagine how ecstatic I was to be in the same room as them. I was lucky enough to be part of the bloggers forum and my question was for Tahereh:

When did you figure out who Juliette was going to end up with? Was it while you were writing the first book or was it something you only knew as you were writing the last book?

(I am trying not to spoil this for you guys lol.) She said that she was aware of this particular detail upon writing the first book, and of course I flailed. *sticks tongue out for Team 26 peeps* I was running on just a few hours of sleep and I was super giddy so I'm going to link you to Kai's, Jesselle's, Louisse's, Chyna's, Sab's and Kate's event recaps for more of the Q&A during the forum.

Me with the trio of awesome! ♥ The forum was kind of rushed but we still had so much fun! Ransom and Tahereh in particular arrived in an early morning flight but no one could've guessed it because they were so game for photos and signing whatever we asked them to sign! And eeeep, V. Rossi! If I were more hyper I would've been waving my arms because oh god I love her books.

Of course the day was even more fun because I spent it with my amazing #PHYABookBloggers team! For this event, we had a shirt project wherein we got shirts printed with random quotes from the three authors' books; mine was a Perry quote from Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi. Sigh. <3 I'm with Leslie in the first photo because the quotes on our shirts go together :3

Then it was time for the big event! Look at that crowd. Insane. The event started late because the authors had to have lunch if they were going to sign 2000+ persons' books. The first person to line up did so at one o'clock in the morning, but she was still all smiles more than twelve hours later! Bookish events = more fun in the Philippines ;D

That's my shirt in the first photo :3 I was going to give away my ARC of Into the Still Blue but because I was holding a bunch of books, I forgot to mention not to personalize that copy. *facepalm* Good thing I didn't forget when it came to my friend's copy of Hollow City lol. Anyway, if anyone from the Philippines would still want that signed ARC, shoot me an e-mail!
