Life of a Blogger is a weekly feature hosted by Jessi at Novel Heartbeat where bloggers chatter about random, non-bookish topics. This week's topic is favorite music albums!
TVXQ is still my favorite KPop group - even though I've long ago gotten past that KPop-crazy phase of mine - and Mirotic is my favorite album of theirs. It showcases the group's vocal versatility that is just unparalleled. *still crossing my fingers for a reunion :c* Meanwhile, my love for Taylor Swift is no secret, evident by how two of her albums are in this list. I've listened to all of her albums and found that I don't enjoy her older songs because they're too country, but I feel like Speak Now is where she started straying from that genre, and I just love it. ('Long Live' even inspired the WIP I'm working on right now.) And let's not even talk about Red ♥
I'm one of the many who learned of Ed Sheeran because of his song The A-Team, and when I listened to that song I just needed more, so the + album it was. Kelly Clarkson, on the other hand, was introduced to me by my sisters, who even bought me her Breakaway album. It was years before I listened to any of Kelly's new songs, and coincidentally they were all in Stronger.
I love all of Carly Rae Jepsen's albums, but Kiss is my favorite; I remember having it on loop for days. Unlike CRJ, though, Up All Night is the only 1D album that I can listen to in its entirety without skipping a song. And lastly, Light Me Up. I developed a girl crush on Taylor Momsen because of Gossip Girl, so you can't imagine my squeals when I discovered that she's in a band.
Obviously, my musical taste is just as varied as my bookish one. I once came across a quote that goes something like this: "you can tell who I am by looking at my iPod", (if you know the exact quote and where it's from, please do tell me in the comments!) and I can't agree more.
I think it's pretty cool that Taylor Momsen is in a band as well. I like Taylor Swift, but I actually prefer her older stuff because I'm a bit of a country girl.

I found another Kpop and book lover! :) I've definitely gotten over my kpop craze but I know what you mean. Music is just so addicting! I like Taylor Swift's Red! And even though I'm not a huge Directioner and I'm not obsessed with One Direction, i do like listening to their songs. Great post!
