Stacking the Shelves {22}

Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga's Reviews, where bloggers share recently bought, borrowed, won, and gifted books (print or ebooks)!

I'm trying out a new posting schedule so until I fail at it lol, my haul posts shall be up on Fridays. Anyway, this is another digital books edition! I'm not too good at reading them, but book hoarding is book hoarding, amirite? ;D

If Only got me curious because two cute guys in Aberdeen? Umm, yes, please! Unfortunately, it really disappointed me. Same's true with Reflection Pond. I'm not ready to DNF it yet so I put it down for a while but if it still bores me when I pick it up again, that's it. Now, Third Degree and Road to Somewhere? Holy smokes, such awesome books! The first is an NA novel with a huge serving of medical stuff on the side. Yep, it's as unique as it sounds. And then there's the fabulous road to sisterhood and hot cowboys.

Evil Red is a novelette featuring the main biatch in the Aurora Sky series, and if you don't like strong-willed girls then don't even try it. Valerie needs none of your love. The Hunt... what's with that cover? >_< It looks like whoever's responsible for the covers in this series got lazy or something; I definitely prefer the style of the original cover of the first book. I haven't read any of the Beautiful Creatures books but I couldn't pass up the chance when Dangerous Dream became a read-now title on NetGalley lol. And ahhh, Played! I absolutely loved Hooked when I read it last year and I really like how this companion novel sounds. Looks like the MCs of the first book won't be getting a rest even in here XD

Camp Boyfriend and Camp Payback are for a blog tour. Both sound very summer-y, perfect reads for the current Manila blaze, and I've only now realized that I haven't read many, if any, books about summer camps!

Even though the first book disappointed me very much, I'm looking forward to reading The Immortal Crown because Gameboard did get better by the end, so I'm hoping this sequel has none of the slowness of its predecessor. Red at Night and You Are Here were both free on Amazon (they still are!). Who wouldn't like free novellas?

Huge thanks to Entangled Publishing, Kacey Vanderkarr, Random House, Bloomsbury, Nikki Jefford, Disney Hyperion, Little, Brown Books, Harlequin, Spencer Hill Press, and Dutton for these lovely books!

That's it! Have you read any of these titles or are they in your TBR list? Leave links to your own hauls and I'll drop by!

  1. Ah love the books! I have both the two free novella's on my kindle as well, so I'm hoping to read those pretty soon. I am currently really in the mood for novella's, because I am so busy with life :) I hope you enjoy all the books!

  2. Book hoarding IS the fun! *ahem* Um, yes, and my TBR is threatening to fall on my head too, which is slightly awkward. But here's to a weekend of reading! Huzzah. ;)

  7. Nice assortment of books! I saw The Immortal Crown but didn't request it. Gameboard of the Gods is still on my TBR mountain. I haven't had a chance to read it yet. Same with Hooked. I guess I'm a book hoarder too. Come see what I got at Inside of a Dog and Ms. Martin Teaches Media. Happy reading!
